In anticipation of Enniskillen Aeropark becoming a reality for holiday homes, many of the owners may wish to rent theirs out short-term to help pay the running costs and also earn an income, which could be considerable given its location.   

The question is, other than to family or friends, how would owners go about doing this to find suitable renters that would respect not only their home but also the potential dangers of staying on an airfield.

Unfortunately, Airbnb and other holiday rental sites are aimed at ‘Joe Public’, who in most cases are clueless about aviation and could cause an accident on the airfield and jeopardising the concept of Hangar Homes on GA airfields, which has taken years to achieve in the UK. 

To that end, Fly-In Holiday Rentals has been set up to enable owners to rent out their Hangar Home to other pilots and aviation enthusiasts, and as the number of Aeroparks grow, so will the number of Hangar Homes that become available for renting short-term.
